1. Overview

DNLU is the 22nd National Law University of India which came into existence by the Madhya Pradesh Dharmashastra National Law University Ordinance (5 of 2018). It is the 2nd National Law University of Madhya Pradesh after NLIU Bhopal.

The admission process has commenced for 120 seats of the Five Years’ B.A. LL.B (Hons) Integrated Programme for the Academic Year 2018-19. Students will get admission on the basis of Merit List prepared on the basis of their CLAT 2018 score. From next year and onwards, the admission will be given on merit cum preference basis. Out of the total 120 seats, 50% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to Madhya Pradesh.

3. Admission

Admission will be based on merit determined through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

3.1 Seat Distribution Matrix:

PWD (People with Disability) get 5%, Madhya Pradesh (MP) domicile candidates get 5% while Women get 30% reservation in seat allotment for BA (LLB), BBA(LLB) and LLM.

4. Eligibility

4.1 LL. B (Hons)

A candidate for admission to the LL. B. (Hons.) Degree Course is required to have completed 10+2 or equivalent in the first attempt with not less than 45% (40% in the case of SC/ST candidates and persons with disability) aggregate marks.

4.2 LL.M

The candidate should have secured LL. B degree or its equivalent from a recognized university, with not less than 55% (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) aggregate marks.

5. Fees

5.1 B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)

Indian Nationals: Rs 10.75 Lakhs

Foreign Nationals: $10,000/ + Rs 1,50,000/-

5.2 LLM

Indian Nationals: INR 2.50 Lakhs

The total fee includes Tuition fee, Hostel fee, Admission fee etc.
