1. Over View

In 2009, JGU began its first academic session with the establishment of India’s first global law school. Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is recognized by the Bar Council of India and offers a three-year LL.B. program, a five-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), a five-year B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program and a one year LL.M. program. JGLS has established several research centres in a variety of fields including: Global Corporate and Financial Law and Policy; Women, Law, and Social Change; Penology, Criminal Justice and Police Studies; Human Rights Studies; International Trade and Economic Laws; Global Governance and Policy; Health Law, Ethics, and Technology; Intellectual Property Rights Studies; Public Law and Jurisprudence; Environment and Climate Change Studies; South Asian Legal Studies, and Clinical Legal Programmes.

2.1 For B.A, LL.B (Hons.)

Candidates can secure admission in courses offered this college on the basis of their score in LSAT exam.The curriculum follows Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).

Application Process:

All the documents should be submitted before admission process. If the applicant fails to submit any of it, it would lead to cancellation of the application. During registration in online website you need to fill the course for which you are applying. Information such as basic information, personal details, passport details, address, parents info and passport size photograph has to be uploaded.

Admit Card:

All the admit cards of Law School Admission Test are uploaded . It contains all the details such as name, roll no., date of exams, exam centers etc. Admit card is mandatory to carry during the exam.

Admission:

Admission is based on merit score or rank obtained in Law School Admission Test.

3. Eligibility

3.1. For BA LLB (Hons):

Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks(40% marks for SC/ST categories).Minimum age for admission is 20 years.She/he is not eligible for admission if they do not clear their qualifying examination with the required marks. Candidates, whose marks sheets of the qualifying examination are not produced at the time of formal interviews carried by the university are also not eligible for admission.
An applicant must clear LSAT for admission to this college.

3.2. For LLM :

For Indian Nationals either B.A. LL.B., B.Com LL.B, B.Sc. LL.B, BBA LL.B., B.Tech LL.B., B.L.S. LL.B., LL.B. degree is must. The eligibility criteria for LLM course admissions for Foreign Nationals is such that admission will be offered if candidates possess LLB or an equivalent law degree with 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

An applicant must clear LSAT for admission to this college.
