1. Overview

Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLU Aurangabad, MNLUA) is a state university located at Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was established in 2017 by the Government of Maharashtra, and was the third and final university to be installed through the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014] following Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai and Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur, and was the 21st National Law University established in India.

2. Programmes Offered

The university currently offers the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) course, LLM, PG, PhD and LLD.

3. Eligibility and Admission

  • The eligibility for admission is on the basis of is the Common Law Admission Test notification issued for the respective academic year. Admission will be on the basis of merit secured by the applicants in the CLAT.
  • Students applying for LLB must have 45% (40% for SC /ST candidates) marks in their 10+2 exams.
  • Students applying for LLM/ PG courses must have 55% (50% for SC/ ST candidates) marks in their LLB exams.

4. Intake

The total intake to the LLB program is 120 and for the LLM program is 60 which include seats reserved under the Maharashtra Reservation Policy.

5. Fee Structure

  • Students from the state of Maharashtra: Rs 10,60,145
  • Students from other states: Rs. 12,60,145
  •  LLM: 1,36,000 for Maharashtra candidates
  • 1,58,750 per  course for other state candidates 
  • Hostel Fee: LLB: 33,000 and LLM: 30,000
