The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the candidate’s capability of identifying different patterns, logical links and correct illogical arguments. It includes different types of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms (conclusion that can be logically drawn from one or more statements), logical sequences, analogies, etc.
Logical Reasoning comprises of two subparts:
- Verbal Reasoning: Decision making, Syllogism or Statement and Conclusion, Assertion and Reason, etc.
- Non-Verbal Reasoning: Number and Letter Series, Venn Diagrams, Odd Man out etc
