Sectional Analysis:

1. English & Comprehension

This section was the only breather in this year’s CLAT. With some questions on expected lines, good students would have scored well in this section. There were surprises in this section as commonly confusing words model from CAT made the appearance here. The rough distribution is:

2. Logical Reasoning

This section is the trickiest in CLAT 2015. With some CAT questions sneaking in directly, students would have been confused and found it difficult to negotiate this section. A smart student would have focsed only on the doable questions in this section and leave the most of the rest.

3. Legal Aptitude

This section was on expected lines, probably because CAT doesn’t have questions in this area for CLAT setters to use from. ALP students would have found most questions scoring. Legal GK has made it’s way back to CLAT this season.

4. Mathematics

This was the toughest section of this year with many questions from Number System of CAT making direct appearance. Smart students would have left most of this section.

5. General Knowledge

This year current affairs were the flavour of this section after many years of static GK domination. Still students would not have felt it easy as there were questions which required more than regular follow up news. ALP students would have handled this section with relative comfort.
