will revert to the offline mode from 2019, as decided unanimously by the NLU Consortium. The decision was taken after retrospection of the various technical glitches experienced over the past few years. The CLAT exam went online in the year 2015, and has witnessed various technical issues since then.
The decision was taken at the fourth meeting of the NLU Consortium that was held at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore under the Chairmanship of Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Vice-Chancellor, NALSAR, Hyderabad and the President of the Consortium.
“The students appearing for CLAT 2019 will have to appear in pen-paper mode,” mentioned the official release of the meeting which was held on October 17, 2019.

The CLAT 2019 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 12, 2019 by National Law University, Odisha.
