STEPS FOR CLAT 2023 APPLICATION FORM:
CLAT 2023 Application Form notification has been released. The official notification for CLAT 2023 is on the website of the consortium of NLUS. The good news is that 22 NLUs are participating in the CLAT examination 2023. CLAT scores are essential for admission into 5 years of integrated LLB and LLM programs.

Step 1:
Register yourself for the examination by filling in basic details like your Name, mobile number, email address and a password of your choice. Then, re-enter the password and click on register.
Step 2:
On successfully registering, you will get an OTP to the mobile number mentioned during the registration in Step-1 above. Enter the OTP and click on activate to register your candidature. On successfully registering, you will see a message ‘Account is activated.
Step 3:
Now login to the consortium website using your email address and password set by you during the registration in STEP-1. This will log you into the website, and you will see a welcome message on the page with your Name on the screen.
You will have to choose between 5 year LLB program or 1 year LLM program. Then, click on the program you want to choose. For example, click on the 5-year LLB program to pursue your bachelor’s in law. Below find all the important dates mentioned under the tab ‘important events’. Then click on ‘Apply for CLAT’ to complete the application.
Step 4:
Under the personal information tab, please fill in all your details as requested without any spelling errors. Remember, from here on till you get an admission, these are the only details NLUs consider, so be careful with the details. You will also be asked to upload your photo and signature in the prescribed formats.
Step 5:
Now enter the Communication Details. All the correspondence from the NLUs will be with the provided address only.
Step 6:
Further, enter the Qualifying Exam Details. Enter all the required information accurately without any scope for errors. For example, if you are looking for an LLB 5 years integrated program, enter your 12th standard exam details, as it would be your qualifying exam and vice-versa.
Step 7:
Under the Preferences tab, you will find your test preference centres. Click them according to your convenience and short distance.
Step 8:
Please fill in the Reservation you have precisely along with your domicile. Then, refer to your CASTE, COMMUNITY and NATIVITY certificate to fill details here. Mis-matching the details from the govt-issued certificate will forfeit your chances of claiming any government of India levied reservations for securing admission into the NLUS.
Step 9:
Finally, submit your application. You will now be prompted to pay the admission fee of Rs. 4000/- or others based on the concession given to a category. Complete the payment using Credit, Debit, NET Banking or other standard payment options as mentioned on the page.
Step 10:
On successful payment, you will be given a payment receipt. Please save it securely and also get a printout of the payment receipt, which will be helpful until the end of the admission process. Also, download a copy of the submitted application by logging into the consortium page, save it on your computer and please take a printout of it.
