STEPS FOR CLAT 2025 APPLICATION FORM:

The notification for the CLAT 2025 Application Form has been released. It can be found on the website of the consortium. The good news is that 24 NLUs are participating in the CLAT examination for the year 2025. CLAT scores are crucial for admission into both 5-year integrated LLB and LLM programs.

Abhyaas LAWPREP simplifies the application process for you. Here are the essential steps you need to follow to successfully submit your application:

Step 1:

To register for the examination, please fill in essential details such as your name, mobile number, email address, and a password of your choice. Confirm your password by entering it again, then click on the ‘Register’ button to complete the process.

Step 2:

After successfully registering, you will receive an OTP on the mobile number provided during Step 1 of registration. Enter the OTP and click ‘Activate’ to finalize your registration. Once activated, you will see a confirmation message stating ‘Account is activated.’

Step 3:

Now, log in to the consortium website using the email address and password you set during Step 1 of registration. This will grant you access to the website, where you will be greeted with a welcome message displaying your name on the screen.
Next, you will need to choose between the 5-year LLB program or the 1-year LLM program. Click on your desired program; for instance, select the 5-year LLB program to pursue your bachelor’s in law. Below, you will find all the important dates listed under the ‘Important Events’ tab. Proceed by clicking on ‘Apply for CLAT’ to complete your application.

Step 4:

In the ‘Personal Information’ tab, kindly ensure accurate completion of all requested details without any spelling errors. Please note, from this stage until admission, these details are crucial and will be the only ones considered by NLUs, so accuracy is paramount. Additionally, you will need to upload your photo and signature in the specified formats as part of this process.

Step 5:

Next, proceed to enter your Communication Details. All correspondence from the NLUs will be sent to the address you provide here exclusively.

Step 6:

Further, proceed to enter your Qualifying Exam Details. Please ensure accurate entry of all required information without any errors. For instance, if you are applying for the 5-year integrated LLB program, enter your 12th standard exam details as your qualifying exam, and vice versa.

Step 7:

In the Preferences tab, you will find the test center preferences. Select the centers based on your convenience and proximity for optimal choices.

Step 8:

Please accurately fill out your Reservation details, including your domicile. Refer to your CASTE, COMMUNITY, and NATIVITY certificates to ensure correctness. Any discrepancies from the government-issued certificates may result in forfeiting your eligibility for government-mandated reservations when seeking admission to the NLUs.

Step 9:

Lastly, submit your application. You will be prompted to pay the admission fee, which is Rs. 4000/- or an amount adjusted according to applicable concessions for different categories. Complete the payment using Credit Card, Debit Card, NET Banking, or other specified standard payment options on the page.

Step 10:

Upon successful payment, you will receive a payment receipt. Please securely save and print out this receipt, as it will be necessary throughout the admission process. Additionally, login to the consortium page to download a copy of your submitted application. Save it on your computer and take a printout for your records.
Congratulations! You have successfully submitted your application. Now, focus on your last-minute preparations as you approach the CLAT 2025 examination. Best of luck!
