1. About The College

J C College of Law was established on 1991 under the sponsorship of Nagarjuna Education Society. J C College of Law is located in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh and is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. It has been approved by the Bar council of India. The institute is named after the legend Sri Jagarlamudi Chandramouli.

2. Courses Offered

2.1 3 Year LLB Course:

J C College of Law consists of 2 types of seats: convenor seats, where the admission is determined by the candidate’s performance in the Lawcet entrance and, management seats.

3. Eligibility

3.1 3 Year Course

FOR CATEGORY A SEATS (CONVENOR SEATS)

  • Clear the Lawcet entrance test.
  • Should have obtained a degree or its equivalent in ( 10 + 2 + 3 pattern ) of a recognized university.
  • A pass in the qualifying examination with 45% marks (including languages).
  • For those seats reserved for SC/ ST the minimum percentage required is 40%
  • A candidate who has secured 45% or more in B.Ed , or P.G is also eligible even if one secures less than 45% in degree  course

FOR CATEGORY B SEATS (MANAGEMENT SEATS)

  • Eligibility criteria is similar to convenor seats
  • Qualification of Lawcet is not required
  • Admission is determined by the management of the college
3.2 5 YEAR COURSE

FOR CONVENOR SEATS

  • The candidate is expected to have cleared intermediate or any other examination that is recognised as equivalent by the university concerned
  • The candidate should have cleared the qualifying entrance with a percentage score of 45%.
  • For SC/ ST candidate the minimum qualification is 40%..

MANAGEMENT QUOTA.

  • Lawcet Qualification is not required.
  • Admissions into Management Quota are made by the Management of the college.
