Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University or RMLNLU Lucknow formerly known as Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University ( RMLNLU Lucknow ) is a state-funded university that was established in the year 2005. This university is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the prominent law institutes in India. It is one of the largest law universities in India and witnesses the best infrastructure. The standard of education here is quite high. The students from this university have an excellent record of accomplishment and have received the highest accolades for their performance.

The Chancellor of the University is CM Yogi Aditynath. The standard of education is quite high.

RMLNLU Lucknow also offers a two-week certificate course on International and Comparative Law in partnership with United States India Educational Foundation.

2. Courses Offered

RMLNLU, Raipuroffersundergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level law programs in three disciplines to candidates. Courses offered at GLCinclude – Diploma in Cyber Law, Diploma in Intellectual Property: Law, Diploma Program in Human Rights. To seek admission to RMLNLU in undergraduate and post-graduate courses students have to clear Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). One can get admission only based on the score in CLAT.

2.1 Application Process:

Candidates needs to fill and submit CLAT application form to get admission in law courses offered by RMLNLU

PWD (People with Disability) get 5% of seats, dependants of Freedom fighters get 2% of seats, students from Defence personnel get 5% and Women get 20% Horizontal reservation in seat allotment both for BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLM courses.

3. RMLNLU Eligibility

3.1. For BA LLB (Hons):

Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST categories). As per the 2017 rules, there is no age bar for admission.She/he is not eligible for admission if they do not clear their qualifying examination with the required marks. Candidates, whose marks sheets of the qualifying examination are not produced at the time of formal interviews carried out by the university are also not eligible for admission.

3.2.Post Graduate Diploma:

The candidate must be a graduate of a recognized university. She/he must have scored a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) to apply for this course. Candidates are selected based on rules and guidelines set by the college. Final admission is granted based on the student’s performance in the qualifying examination.

3.3. Post Doctorate in Law:

Candidate must have completed post-graduate from a recognized university. Minimum 55% of marks is required to be eligible.
