SLS Pune offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level law programs to candidates. Courses offered at SLS include – Diploma in Cyber Law, Diploma in Intellectual Property: Law, Diploma Program in Human Resource Management and Labor Laws, Diploma in Taxation Law, Certificate Program in European Union Legal Studies.
Candidates can secure admission in courses offered SLS Pune based on Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) +Personal Interaction and Writing Ability (PI-WAT) score. Aspirants need to take part inSLAT admission process. After they clear the written test students have to participate in the PI-WAT process. The score for PI-WAT is 50 marks maximum. There are total 120 seats in BA LLB (Hons.). 180 seats are for BBA LLB (Hons.) course. For 3-year LLB course there are in total 60 seats.
For Indian Nationals either B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B. or any graduate degree is the must. The eligibility criteria for LLM course admissions for Foreign Nationals is such that admission will be offered if candidates possess LLB or an equivalent law degree with 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. This criterion is for all the candidates.
Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with required information. Eligible candidates will be called for personal interview based on academic record. Candidates are selected based on academic record and performance in personal interview.60percentage is based on academic record and 40% is based on personal interview.

Symbiosis Law Admission Test is conducted at different exam centers all over India. SLAT is an online law admission test of total 150 marks. Subjects covered in this test are Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. There are total 150 questions of one mark each. 150 minutes are stipulated for this test.
On the basis of SLAT result SLS, Pune publishes and creates a list of shortlisted candidates who are further eligible for the PI-WAT.
PI (Personal Interaction):
Personal interaction/ interview of shortlisted candidates will be conducted by a panel of experts from Industry / Academic.
WAT (Writing Ability Test):
The test includes writing a short essay on a given topic.
The score for PI-WAT is 50 marks maximum.
Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks(40% marks for SC/ST categories). As per the 2017 rules, there is no age bar for admission.She/he is not eligible for admission if they do not clear their qualifying examination with the required marks. Candidates, whose marks sheets of the qualifying examination are not produced at the time of formal interviews carried by the university are also not eligible for admission.
For Indian Nationals either B.A. LL.B., B.Com LL.B, B.Sc. LL.B, BBA LL.B., B.Tech LL.B., B.L.S. LL.B., LL.B. degree is the must. The eligibility criteria for LLM course admissions for Foreign Nationals is such that admission will be offered if candidates possess LLB or an equivalent law degree with 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.Also one has to clear All India Admission Test(AIAT). The test comprises of objective and subjective questions. After the test personal interview is taken to check the personal traits, fitment and statement of purpose for this course. The weightage of both the criteria is 70% and 30% respectively.
