BHU LAW ENTRANCE EXAM 2022 NOTIFICATION

OVERVIEW:
BHU LAW EXAM 2022 Notification: Benaras Hindu University Law Entrance Exam also known as BHULEE is an entrance examination that is conducted by National Testing Agency for admissions to the B.A LLB, LLB and LLM programs.

BHULEE SYLLABUS:

Section 1-Language Comprehension:
This section comprises of questions predominantly in the areas of Comprehension passages with minimum two passages followed by 5-10 questions, Synonyms, Antonyms, sentence improvement and rearrangement, Idioms and phrases, Jumble words and sentences, Fill-in the blanks. A very good vocabulary and speed in reading will help the candidates do well in this section. Proficiency in English will be basically tested.

Section 2 -General Awareness:
This section contains questions on your general awareness of what is happening in the world during the last year, with an emphasis on India and static general knowledge. It includes History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics and Current Affairs.

Section 3- Common Legal Knowledge:
The Legal aptitude section consists of questions in the areas of Study of law, Research aptitude and Problem-solving ability. Vicarious Liability, Torts, Law of Crimes, Strict Liability, IPC and CrPC are other important topics.

Section 4- Current Affairs:
The Current Affairs section consists of questions in the areas of events happening around the world. Questions will be on regional, national and international topics.

Section 5- Aptitude and Mental ability:
The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test your ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It includes a wide variety of critical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, applying principles and completing arguments. A variety of arrangements, blood relations-based puzzles and analogies are in this section.

BHULEEEXAM PATTERN

  • BHULEE examination will be conducted in the online and offline modes.
  • The languages of the attempt will be English and Hindi language.
  • The exam duration is two hours (120 minutes).
  • Only ‘Objective type questions will be asked in the exam and 1 mark (negative mark) will be taken away for every wrong answer.
  • There are 150 questions in the test and each question carries 3 marks, which total up to 450 marks.
  • The subjects which are tested in the examination includes Language Comprehension, General knowledge, Current Affairs, Aptitude & Mental Ability and Common Legal Knowledge.

BHULEE ELIGIBILITY

For LLB Course

  • For BA & BBA LLB programs he/she must have acquired a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in 10+2 examinations.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board for the integrated five-year course and for the three-year course he/she must hold a graduate or postgraduate degree from any recognized institution in any stream.
  • The candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in LLB or in its equivalent degree for GEN/OBC candidates (50% for SC/ST candidates).

How to Apply?

  • Online Registration: Candidates must create an account using their email ID and register. Later choose a password for their account.
  • Upload Documents: Students should submit a copy of the statement of marks of Class 10, Class 11/ 12. Scan and upload a recent passport size photograph (10 Kbto 200kb formal dress) in JPEG format. Signature of the candidate must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
  • Application Fee: BHULEE exam application fee is 600/- for General candidates and 300/- for SC/ST candidates which has to be paid via online mode through internet payment/net banking/credit card/debit card/offline through HDFC challan.

Exam centres:

BHULEE can be written both Offline and online. Students can choose 5 centres of their preference. Around 45 Offline and 115 Online centres are provided for the student to choose from.
