DUET 2022 EXAM NOTIFICATION

OVERVIEW:
DUET 2022 Notification: Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to admit students to a 3 year LLB program. The program is offered by the Faculty of Delhi University at 3 centres namely Campus Law Centre (CLC), Law Centre 1 (LC1) and Law Centre 2 (LC2).

DULLB SYLLABUS:

Section 1- English Comprehension:
This section comprises of questions predominantly in the areas of Comprehension passages with minimum two passages followed by 5-10 questions, Synonyms, Antonyms, Find the odd one out, Fill in the blank(s), Correct the sentence, Identify the error and Reading Comprehension. A very good vocabulary and speed in reading will help the candidates do well in this section. Proficiency in English will be basically tested.

Section 2 -General Knowledge:
This section contains questions on your general awareness of what is happening in the world during the last year, with an emphasis on India and static general knowledge. It includes History, Geography, General Science, Media, Sports, Environment, Policies, Polity, Culture, Economics, Civics and Current Affairs. Questions will be on regional, national and international topics.

Section 3- Analytical Ability:
It includes a wide variety of critical questions such as Arithmetic, Geometry, Logical Reasoning, Ratio Proportion, Time Distance, Number Series, Data Interpretation, syllogisms, logical sequences, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, applying principles and completing arguments.

Section4- Legal Awareness and Aptitude:
The Legal aptitude section consists of questions in the areas of Study of law, Research aptitude and Problem-solving ability. Vicarious Liability, Torts, Law of Crimes, Strict Liability, IPC, CrPC, Legal Maxims, Indian Constitution, Important Acts and Amendments of the Legislature, Important Supreme Court Judgments, etc.

DULLB EXAM PATTERN

  • DULLB examination will be conducted in the online mode and the language of attempt will only be the English language.
  • The exam duration is 2 hours (120 minutes).
  • Only ‘Objective type questions will be asked in the exam.
  • There are 100 questions in the test and 4 marks will be allotted to each correct answer which totals up to 400 marks. Each wrong answer willtake away 1 mark from your score. Unanswered questions will have 0 marks.
  • The subjects which are tested in the examination includes English Language Comprehenion, General knowledge, Analytical ability, and Legal awareness &aptitude.

DULLB ELIGIBILITY

For LLB Course

  • For LLB programs he/she must have acquired a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 examinations
  • General candidates must have 50% in their 12th class examination while OBC candidates need only 45% and SC/ST candidates need 40% to be eligible to apply for the exam.
  • PWD candidates and Children/ Family members of Ex-servicemen/Service personnel get 5% relaxation in the eligibility.

5. How to Apply?

  • Online Registration: Candidates must create an account using their email ID and register. Later choose a password for their account.
  • Upload Documents: Students should submit a copy of the statement of marks of Class 10, Class 11/ 12. Scan and upload a recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background).
  • Application Fee: DULLB Charges an application fee of rs. 500/- for General Catagory, SC/ST – rs. 250/-, and PWD rs. 250 /-for the entrance exam which is payable online through debit/ credit cards.

Seat allotment:

DULLB offers around 2888 seats to aspiring students to study in Delhi University apart from SuperNumery seats of 432 to Foreign Nationals (FN-144), People With Disabilities (PWD-144) and Children /Widows of Ex-service/ Service Personnel (CW-144).
