* The difficulty level of a section is assessed as a function of both the toughness of questions as well as thedeviation from the expected pattern.

Sectional Analysis:

1. English & Comprehension:

There were 5 passages which would have been easily handled by an ALP students using skim & scan method. Other questions were from Synonyms/Antonyms, Sentence correction etc.

2. Legal Reasoning:

Students would have found this section time taking with half the questions of principle-fact type as well as some tricky questions on constitutional GK.

3. Logical Reasoning:

The section has usual mix of questions like syllogisms, strong/weak argumentss and other statement based questions.

4. Analytical Reasoning:

This section threw surprises with questions in maths like ratios, permutations& combinations and percentages etc. How ever a serious CLAT aspirant (aka ALP student) would have found it manageable.

5. General Knowledge:

Many questions in the GK section were from ‘Static GK’ and ALP students found most of the questions familiar from their material. An exhaustive post on this section with questions and answers will be shared later.
